Privacy Policy

How Lighthouse Digital Solutions handles your information. Last updated 9 October 2026.

Who we are

Lighthouse Digital Solutions ("Lighthouse", "we") builds, hosts, secures and grows websites for businesses. This policy covers this website and the Lighthouse client platform. For any privacy question, email hello@lighthousedigitalsolutions.org.

Lighthouse Digital Solutions is a sole proprietorship of Bhawna Kumari, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. Udyam registration UDYAM-KR-03-0622906.

What we collect on this website

Enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we collect your company name, your name, your email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number and message. We use them only to reply to you and to manage the conversation that follows.

With an enquiry we also record the country it was sent from (worked out by our hosting provider from your connection — we don't store your IP address), the page you first arrived on, the website that linked you to us, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. Your browser holds these for the current visit only, and they reach us only if you send an enquiry. We use them to understand which countries and channels bring us enquiries.

Free website check. The free check asks only for a website address. We don't ask for your email and we don't save the address or the results.

Technical data. To stop abuse, we briefly hold the IP address a request came from, to limit how many enquiries or checks can be sent in a short time. This is kept in memory only and is not stored in our database.

Analytics and cookies. This website uses Google Analytics to count visits: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors are (country and city level), what device they use and which site referred them. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits apart. We use these figures only in aggregate, to see how the site is used, and we run no advertising or remarketing tools. The client platform uses essential cookies only, to keep signed-in users signed in. This website also sets one small cookie holding your country code (worked out by our hosting provider), so prices can be shown in your own currency; it contains nothing else.

Lighthouse AI chat. If you type a question into the chat on this website, your messages are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to write a reply. We don't save the conversation unless you choose "Talk to Lighthouse" and send your details — then your details and the chat are stored as an enquiry, exactly like the enquiry form. Please don't type passwords, payment details or other sensitive information into the chat.

How enquiries are handled

Your enquiry is stored in our own customer records and emailed to our team. We also send you an automatic confirmation email.

We use an AI service to help us read and prioritise new enquiries. It sees the details you entered in the form, and a person at Lighthouse still reviews every enquiry.

Businesses we contact

We sometimes email a business to point out a specific problem we found on its website. We only use the business email address published on that business's own website, together with the business name, website address and what our check of that public website found. We never buy or rent email lists.

Every email says where we found the address and has a one-click unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe or reply "no thanks", we add the address to a do-not-contact list and never email it again. You can also ask us to delete what we hold about your business at any time.

Google data (Search Console, Analytics and Tag Manager)

For clients who ask us to manage their SEO, Lighthouse connects to Google with read-only access to Google Search Console, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. We use this data only to monitor those clients' own websites and to prepare their reports. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the client it belongs to.

Lighthouse's use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Services that process data for us

We use a small number of providers to run Lighthouse: Vercel (website hosting), Supabase (database), Resend (sending email), Zoho (business email and invoicing), MXroute (our mailboxes), n8n (workflow automation), Cloudways (hosting for client websites we look after), Google (the analytics described above) and Anthropic (the AI service mentioned above). Each one processes data only to provide its service to us.

Lighthouse is based in India. Several of these providers store or process data in other countries, including the United States, so your information may be handled outside the country you live in. We choose established providers that protect the data they hold.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it, and your choices

We keep enquiry details while we are in contact with you and for as long as we need them to look after any work we do together. Invoices and payment records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires. When we no longer need something, we delete it.

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or withdraw any consent you gave us — by emailing hello@lighthousedigitalsolutions.org. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. We reply within 30 days.

Grievance Officer

If you have a concern about how we handle your information, contact our Grievance Officer, Bhawna Kumari, at hello@lighthousedigitalsolutions.org. We will acknowledge your message and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the privacy regulator where you live — for example the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, New Zealand's Privacy Commissioner, or the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this policy

If what we collect or how we use it changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
